Introducing Cold Atmospheric Plasma Fusion

The Evolution of Plasma Fibroblast

COLD * JET * WARM * FUSION * FIBROBLAST
(something available for all skin types)
Booking starts April 20th for Cold Fusion Treatments

What is Fusion Plasma?

Fusion atmospheric plasma is a laser alternative treatment utilizing both Thermal/Warm Plasma and Non-Thermal/Cold Plasma treatment to tighten, resurface, reverse discoloration/melasma, reduce acne, scarring, stretch marks and heal the skin. A non-surgical alternative to many skin conditions that previously only surgery, laser or neurotoxins could achieve in as little as 1-2 treatments.

What is Warm Plasma?

Warm plasma is the evolution of Plasma Fibroblast treatments. This gentle warm plasma treatment is non-invasive and produces a large arc (flare) when high-frequency plasma ionizes the argon gas in the air. There is a fluttering spray of plasma that flutters over the epidermis creating tiny white pale flat dots on the skin. The damage to the epidermis is minimal as the energy reaches the cellular level.  Although thermal energy is produced, the plasma cools down very quickly as it reaches the cellular level resulting in minimal discomfort and surface injury with minimal downtime. Warm atmospheric plasma is Thermal Plasma and offers a non-surgical alternative to many skin conditions that previously only surgery could achieve. This is a great complimentary service for Fibroblast Skin Tightening treatments.

Warm Plasma can be used for:

  • Non-surgical eyelid lifting (non-surgical blepharoplasty).

  • Rejuvenation of creases or wrinkles around the mouth (smoker lines)
    and eyes (crow’s feet).

  • Acne scar improvement.

  • Reducing hyperpigmentation, Melasma and dark spots.

  • Reducing stretch marks and loose skin.

  • Skin rejuvenation, lifting, and tightening on face, neck, and body.

  • Fusion Plasma gives the skin a lifted effect and promotes collagen production. A full-face treatment can be done in less than 20 minutes after numbing cream is applied.

How many treatments are required for Warm Plasma?

Cases can be different, but typically non-surgical eye lifts and skin rejuvenation take one or two sessions to obtain the desired result. However, the majority of patients respond positively after one session. Patients will see preliminary results instantly and the results will continue to improve over the next 90 days. Consultation is mandatory prior to treatment.

What are the side effects?

Side effects include inflammation and flushing of the treated area, which may last for 2-3 days. When treating around the eyes, it may last longer, (5-7 days) and there may be swelling for the first couple of days. This procedure does not leave the traditional dots that a Fibroblast treatment leaves. The skin will feel tighter instantly and will continue to tighten during the healing process. It is important not to pick or scratch the area. Allow crusts to disappear without interference. Darker skin tones may need to use a melanin suppressant for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. Warm Plasma can be done on skin types 1-5 only. *NOTE: STOP use of Retinol 3 weeks prior to Warm Plasma.

What is Cold Atmospheric Plasma?

According to physics, there is only one COLD Plasma (Non-Thermal) and it must be produced by using conductive gas support like Helium, Argon, Neon, Hydrogen, etc. Many plasma devices on the market call themselves ‘cold’ but if they don’t use gas support, they are still thermal and are NOT Cold Plasma at all. Plasma acts as a door opener for your other skincare ingredients to better penetrate the skin.

What is Cold Plasma used for?

For many years, Cold Atmospheric Plasma, (CAP) has been used in the medical field for its antibacterial effect, fungi-destroying feature, and virus inactivation due to the photon and ozone it produces post surgery. It provides very strong ozonation and sterilization in the environment where it is applied, without using any chemicals, and doesn’t produce any heat, making it great for any skin type. It’s cold to the touch and produces antioxidant properties that can help protect the skin from free radicals, which can cause damage to the cells and contribute to the signs of aging. It is a great treatment for acne, cold sores, stimulates hair growth, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, wound healing, diabetic foot, nail fungus as it heals, disinfects, rejuvenates, oxygenates, resurfaces textured skin, diminishes discoloration, reverses sun damage and reduces inflammation. Cold Plasma promotes healing and relieves the skin without pain, heat sensation, redness, swelling, crusting, or any other side effects and is great for teens. Cold Atmospheric Plasma can be used immediately after the Fusion Plasma treatment to help with inflammation and induce healing.

*Remember: REAL Cold Atmospheric Plasma, (CAP), can only be generated using an inert gas like (helium, argon, etc.) Our device uses Argon. Devices that don’t connect to gas are NOT real Cold Plasma. They are thermal (Hot) plasma.

Plasma Fibroblast

Plasma Fibroblast opens the door to a revolutionary soft surgery approach that brings an end to invasive skin treatments, offers faster recovery time and improves the appearance of skin without going under the knife. Whether you are looking to tighten, lift or rejuvenate your skin, soft surgery with Plasma Pen offers the most natural and attainable results.

Soft surgery with Plasma Pen means very little down-time, no damaging effects and very little aftercare. During soft surgery, the skin is treated with controlled bursts of plasma gas in order to lift and tighten the treated area. Without damaging the tissue, we can now carry out numerous soft surgery treatments, including forehead lifts, crows feet smoothing, jaw augmentation, eye lifts and bunny lines. These soft surgery treatments can also be used to smooth acne scarring and uneven skin tone.
Because these procedures are non-invasive, there is no need for a general anesthetic, as required with more traditional surgeries, and they are carried out by approved Plasma Pen Aestheticians. (Scroll down for pricing.)

Why do I want this treatment?

Your highly trained and certified technician will use the Plasma Pen device to deliver "soft-surgery" plasma fibroblasting. The plasma significantly tightens, lifts, resurfaces, and regenerates practically any area of the skin.

Fibroblast Plasma Lift removes or reduces fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, sagging skin on your neck or tummy, and eliminates skin imperfections like skin tags and sun damage.

The results are only comparable to plastic surgery, and in most areas, are permanent. To put the prices into perspective, the cost of a facelift is $7,200 - $14,000.

Plasma Fibroblast converts electrical energy into gaseous diatomic molecular nitrogen and transmits that energized gas in a non-contact way to the skin’s surface from above. This causes a micro-trauma to the skin’s epidermal layer (top layers) whilst simultaneously heating and disrupting the deeper dermal structure via thermal conduction. This treatment is also known as fibroblasting. Fibroblasts are the most common cells of connective tissue in the body that produce collagen.

Picture those fun electric balls you have seen as a kid and how it jumps from the base to your finger as you touch the glass.

Electric energy converts gas from the air into “diatomic molecular nitrogen,” mostly oxygen and nitrogen. It is then transmitted to the skin’s surface in a non-contact way. It will only fire when it's 1mm away or if it touches the skin.

Plasma heats and disrupts all the way down to your dermal layer of skin to create micro-trauma to the tissue. The surface is lightly ablated with a “fanning” technique, at which time the technician creates the little dots in the tissue. Those dots are tiny blood clots with a small scab over the top, which means that unlike with CO2, the tissue is completely closed. This prevents the likelihood of infection risks, making it safer even than Microneedling.

It is a much more predictable result that ablative lasers, and it doesn’t create unnecessary damage. Fibroblast services truly targets the tissue that needs repair and takes care of it. They are also far less risky because the tissue is closed immediately so there’s less chance of infection or permanent damage.

It also has:

  • Less risk of hyperpigmentation than ablative lasers

  • Significantly less downtime

  • Equal or greater results

  • Shorter window of sun sensitivity than many lasers

  • No blood, no open wounds

  • Rapid healing time

  • Average result holds 3 - 5 years

  • It is a PREVENTATIVE treatment as well. No need to wait for loose skin to enjoy the benefits.

Unfortunately, it is not for everyone.

  • No treatment on a port wine stain or birthmark

  • If you are a Fitzpatrick Skin Type IV or V (see picture below)

  • Hemophiliacs

  • Hepatitis/HIV/AIDS

  • If you hyperpigment/hypopigment easily

  • Lupus

  • Epileptics

  • If you’ve ever had Gold Therapy for Rheumatoid Arthritis

  • Pregnancy / Breastfeeding

  • Hypertrophic or Keloid Scarring

  • No eye treatments if you have Retinal Detachment

  • Vitilago

  • Currently using Accutane, Cortosteroids, Blood Thinners, Antabuse

  • Diabetics (doctors note is recommended)

DON'T worry if plasma isn't right for you, ask us about alternatives that

will work for ANY skin type.

How Do Skin Tightening Treatments Differ From Cosmetic Surgery?

We offer arguably the only skin tightening treatment, outside of surgery, that can be safely performed on the eyelids (non-surgical blepharoplasty). Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh is FDA Cleared and one of the only genuine plasma devices capable of safely treating upper and lower eyelids during the same treatment session. With our device, we are actually able to perform most cosmetic surgery procedures with similar effects and outcomes including blepharoplasties, rhytidectomies, jawline augmentations, neck lifts, browplasties, tummy tucks, brachioplasty and much more. We just do it all in a completely non-surgical and non-invasive way.

Acne & Scars

If you’ve suffered from acne and the aftermath from acne, you know the toll it can take on your skin, even when it has subsided. Plasma Pen treats the fibroblasts in your skin at a deeper level than a laser or a chemical peel can, leaving the top layer of your skin free of unsightly wounds. And because treatment of your skin is farther than surface level, healing time is shorter, and results are immediate.

How Long Do Results Last?

Just one Plasma Pen skin tightening treatment will produce INSTANT long-lasting results. Some people need only one treatment, others will need two and even perhaps three treatments to get desired results. The average effects of a Plasma fibroblast session last around three years to five years! In some cases, results even became permanent!

Before any Plasma treatment can be performed, a 30 minute consultation must be scheduled at a fee of $75, which will be credited toward any service at Glow Skin Science however, it is non-refundable. This consultation is crucial in determining whether or not this type of procedure is right for you. What to expect before and after instructions will be given at this time, as well as a treatment plan. Prepping your skin 1-2 weeks beforehand with clinical grade skincare is very important, so for this reason at your consultation visit, you may be advised to start on an at home pigment inhibiting treatment. Schedule your consultation online for your convenience.

Please See Cancellation Policy before scheduling.

How does it outperform CO2 or Ablative Lasers?
